LIFE IS A POEM….
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou are, to dust thou returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each tomorrow
Find us farther than today.
Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.
In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!
Trust no Future, howe’er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act, – act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o’erhead!
Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sand of time;
Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.
Let us then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.

HP Launches SkyRoom: Skype Meets WebEx
The product, launched simultaneously at the Intel Developers Conference and DEMO, is at the core a two-way video conferencing system. It has similarities to Halo, HP’s teleconferencing solution, but it seems focused on smaller businesses and consumers.
What makes it killer though is the ability to share high quality image and videos (even movies) to others in the conference, as well as standard tools like screencasting capabilities.
It’s cheaper than most conferencing systems at $149 (a one-time cost, no subscription), but that also means it’s still more expensive than Skype, which is free to download. However, HP desktops or workstation notebooks will come with the software standard.
As HP admits, this product won’t replace video conferencing systems or Skype (Skype), but sits nicely in between Skype and WebEx as a teleconferencing solution.

Facebook Platform
In May 2007, Facebook unveiled the Facebook Platform. This launch revolutionized how applications can and would be written to integrate with Facebook's social network. The Facebook Platform provides several ways that developer's can write applications what leverage and integrate with Facebook. The Facebook Platform introduced the concept of "Canvas" applications. Canvas applications are Web applications written by third parties that run within the Facebook platform and appear to users as if they are actually part of the Facebook Web site. Canvas applications provide different integration points for the application developer to promote their application and leverage the social network.
Since the original release, Facebook has continued to update the Platform and provide new and different ways for Facebook Developers to use the platform and the data that Facebook makes available. "Canvas" applications today have many different integration points than the original "canvas" applications of the Facebook platform.
In addition, Facebook has continued to expand its REST APIs and privacy policies to provide more data and more ways for applications to publish the data they generate.
Facebook Platform Core Components
Facebook Platform comprises a number of core components, including:
o The API, which consists of a number of methods that let you add social context to your applications.
o FBML, Facebook Markup Language, which allows you to integrate your application into Facebook.
o XFBML, an extension to FBML, which lets you incorporate FBML into Facebook Connect sites and IFrame applications.
o FQL, Facebook Query Language, which lets you quickly and easily query for Facebook user data without using the API.
o FBJS, Facebook's method for letting developers incorporate JavaScript into their application

Points to Solve Indexing Problems
(a) Your site was temporarily unavailable when the Googlebot was passing through.
(b) Your website has drastic errors – This includes having dead links or orphaned pages that are not allowing the Googlebot to crawl through all the pages of your website.
(c) Javascript or Flash is “un-crawlable” – The Googlebot may have trouble following links in Javascript or Flash meaning pages of your website may be excluded in the Google index. This means, your website contains Nofollow or Robots.txt code placed in the website.
(d) You are black listed – Google has the power to omit your website from their search results if they believe you are doing something illegitimate to boost your PageRank. Illegitimate practices include: Cloaking – having text/links on your website that are invisible to browsers, Over-use of Keywords – repeating keywords artificially to boost keyword count, Duplicating material etc.
(e) Your page may not be relevant to the search terms you want- if the content of your webpages are not relevant to your keywords, your pages won’t appear in search engine results.
Your website may be indexed but not appearing in search engine results due to poor performance. You can check if this is the case by searching for your URL as the keyword. For example, if your URL is www dot example dot com, enter “www dot example dot com” as your search keyword query. If your website appears in the search engine results, then you are indexed.

Microsoft’s Next-Gen Zune Digital Media Player Begins to Take Shape.
Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday disclosed the first official details regarding its next-generation portable digital media player. As expected, the new Zune HD will feature touch-screen, high-definition radio tuner as well as a new version of Windows CE operating system and revamped Internet browser.
Microsoft indicated that Zune HD will use flash memory, even though the company will continue to ship its Zune versions with hard disk drives. In addition, Zune HD will be equipped with OLED multi-touch screen with 3.3" diagonal and 480x272 resolution. Unfortunately, no additional technical details have been revealed: capacity and pricing of flash memory inside Zune is unknown; it is also unclear whether the new Zune HD supports 802.11n Wi-Fi or relies on older-generation 802.11g.
The main feature that will distinguish Zune from its competitors, such as Apple iPod Touch, will be HD radio, which provides high-quality music experience. By contrast, Apple iPod does not support any radio at all. Another important feature of Zune HD is gradual integration of Xbox Live and Zune store services into one. For example, the device will be able to output video in 1280x720 resolution (720p) to HDTVs.
“It’s really one of the first portable HD radio receivers out there. It’s going to be important for us to communicate the value of HD radio since it is a fairly nascent technology,” claimed Mr. Stephenson.
Microsoft Zune HD will be released in early Fall, however, its pricing is yet to be unveiled.

now close out regedit.
3) go to start > run > "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" (again, dont type the quotes)
4) the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.
Now you can dl all the updates without activating, and the Genuine Microsoft Validation thing won't bug you no more!!

Lookup For windows 7 Features ..
Windows 7 is here!
With just 1 days after Windows 7 hit the shelves, i decided to make (yet another) post with all the great features, the available versions and their differences and much more. The first version of Windows 7, originally codenamed Blackcomb and later renamed to Vienna, officially available to public was Beta which was released on January 10th, 2009 (MSDN and TechNet subscribers got it a bit earlier as usual). A Release Candidate of Windows 7 Ultimate followed on May 5th, 2009, with a multilingual UI pack available for download via Windows Update on May 26th. RC was the last version officially available, before Windows 7 was Released to Manufacturing (RTM) on July 24th, 2009. MSDN, TechNet and MSDNAA subscribers are able to download the final version since August 2009. After this brief timeline of Windows 7, let’s see some of the most interesting features (in no particular order).
Features
1. Taskbar and Jump Menus
Probably one of the best things in Windows 7 is the new and improved Taskbar. The taskbar in general is visible to users at almost all times and provides the means to perform many tasks, so the more powerful and user-friendly it is, the better. The new Taskbar was created with that in mind i guess, since it’s much better than the one that we were used to. An first sight you may not notice much of a difference but it is significantly improved. First of all, you will see that items on the taskbar now appear with just their icon without the text, saving up space for more applications. Also the icons are by default larger so that you can easily identify each item and same instances of an application are grouped together. One of the coolest new features is the preview of an application; you can see it by hovering your mouse over the icon. You can also move your mouse over the thumbnail itself to preview the application in full size, which is pretty useful if you have many instances of a program running. You can also pin any programs you like on your taskbar to access them even faster. Another great addition is the Jump Menus. You can right click on the items in taskbar and the Jump Menu will appear. There are many things you can do from the jump menu depending on the application, for example you can start InPrivate browsing for Internet Explorer or change your status on Windows Live Messenger. Last but not least, there is a permanent button to switch to desktop on the right end of the taskbar.
2. Aero Effects – Snap, Shake
Imagine that you have a dozen windows open and you just want to focus your attention on the excel sheet you are currently working on. Minimizing all the other windows is just a matter of “shaking” the window you are interested. You also have the ability to snap a window in the left or right half of the screen by just moving it. See the following video to better understand what i’m talking about.
3. Libraries
Windows 7 can group similar content, like Movies, Music, Documents and Pictures into “special folders” called Libraries. For example, you can add the folders of your Downloaded music, the CD-ripped music and your own written songs folder into the Music Library and access them from one place altogether. No matter where in disc (or discs) your files are stored you can view all of the same type in the corresponding Library. The files are physically located in their original location but you just can see them all in the same place. There are 4 libraries (the ones at the start of the paragraph) created by default, but you can create your own and add whatever folders you want. With the power of Home Group (see #5 below), sharing of the libraries is easier than ever.
4. Device Stage
Device Stage, a new addition to Windows, provides a centralized location to interact with various devices attached to the computer, such as MP3 players, digital cameras, mobile phones and many more. It supports devices connected to USB, Bluetooth or network. Device Stage is customized by the manufacturers and provides easy access to the device’s main functions. For example if you connect a mobile phone you may have options to import pictures taken, browse the phone’s file system, start a custom application from the manufacturer. Since i don’t own any device stage-compliant device, i borrowed a screenshot from Windows Team Blog. You can see a Device Stage in action in the video on Windows 7 website.
5. Home Group
It took Windows many versions to get an easy way to share files across computers but now it’s here! You can create a Home Group (or join an existing one) and immediately start sharing files/folders or libraries. You can also select who to share it with and password protect it if privacy is an issue. Creating a Home Group option is only available in Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise editions, but you can still join an existing from Home Basic and Starter editions (see further down in this post for various editions and their features).
6. Touch support and Multi-Touch
One-finger touch support was built-in windows for a long time, but now you can do much more. Windows 7 supports multi touch and there are several gestures for common mouse actions. You can easily zoom, scroll up or down, navigate, rotate, etc using just your fingers (well, if you have a device that supports multi-touch). It’s really fun and changes the way you interact wit the computer! Windows Taskbar and Start Menu have larger icons so it’s really easy to navigate using fingers. Also Jump Menus (see #1) automatically adjust their size depending on the input method (mouse, touch).
7. One-click Connect to Network
With Windows 7, it takes just two clicks to connect to a WiFi (or other) network. Just click on the network icon on the tray and you get a list with all available networks!
8. Customized notification tray
You now have the power to select not only which items will be shown on your tray (you can do that in Vista), but also if which ones are allowed to show notifications. So, no more annoying balloons popping up if you don’t want to!
9. More options on User Account Control
The unmanageable UAC of Windows Vista belongs to the past. Microsoft has heard people’s complaints about the UAC and decided to add more options so each user can customize when a warning message should appear. Most Vista users used to completely turn it off, to get rid of the notifications each time they wanted to do the simplest thing. Now, you can just tune UAC to relax the restrictions and still enjoy the security it offers.
10. Calculator, WordPad, Paint
All these 3 applications are finally revamped with many new features and redesigned UI. Paint and WordPad now have ribbons instead old-style menus and calculator includes things like unit conversion. Here are a couple of screenshots.
11. Gadgets – No more Sidebar
Microsoft decided to remove the Sidebar which was introduced in Windows Vista. The gadgets can now be added anywhere on your desktop where you can now resize them to your needs! You can read more about the gadgets on this MSDN article.
12. “Play To”
This new feature will be quite welcomed by multimedia enthusiasts and those who own a Media Center PC. You can play your music on other PC’s or devices in your network by just right clicking on the file and selecting Play To. There is a large number of devices that support this feature including PCs running Windows 7 and Xbox360. You can find a list of more devices here.
13. Search in folders
A cool new addition on Windows 7 is the ability to search for a file inside the current folder of Windows Explorer. The search panel is there since Vista but it would search the entire computer instead. Now, you can also set filters like Size or Date Modified easily.
14. Speed and Hardware Requirements
Windows Vista users complained a lot that the OS was slow and unresponsive with long boot times. It seems that all these issues are resolved in Windows 7. The latest version of Windows feels like XP in terms of speed and responsiveness, and also uses less resources like RAM. Windows 7 can run smoothly even on low-end PCs, unlike Windows Vista. The Starter edition is specifically designed for entry level PCs and Netbooks.
15. Windows XP Mode
This feature concerns mostly businesses who have applications running on Windows XP. Using Virtual PC behind the scenes, users can now run older Windows XP programs in Windows 7 without any problems. So they can still keep using their software without any modifications and benefit from all the great stuff in Windows 7!
16. Hotkeys
On Windows 7 you can do many many things from just your keyboard.
Editions
Windows 7 will be available in 6 editions, but only the three of them will be sold in retail stores. Those are Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. Below is a table with some of the main features that each edition will / won’t include. This list is not complete, you can view the “Compare Editions” page on Windows 7 website or the relevant wikipedia article.
| Features | Home Premium | Professional | Ultimate |
| Aero | x | x | x |
| Mobility Center | x | x | x |
| Media Center | x | x | x |
| Multi-Touch | x | x | x |
| Home Group | x | x | x |
| XP Mode | | x | x |
| Presentation Mode | | x | x |
| Backup on network | | x | x |
| BitLocker | | | x |
| Multilingual Pack | | | x |
| Boot from Virtual HD | | | x |
The other three editions are: Starter, Home Basic and Enterprise.
Windows 7 Starter
The Starter edition includes a subset of the features available in full versions and is targeted for Netbooks. It will be available through OEM licensing and there won’t be an 64-bit version, just 32-bit one. Also some more limitations apply. For more information about Starter edition you can read this blog post.
Windows 7 Home Basic
The Home Basic edition will only be available to some emerging markets. This edition will include more features than the Starter edition but it will still lack some that are available in Home Premium, such as Media Center, Multi-Touch support and some Aero options.
Windows 7 Enterprise
Available only through Volume licensing, this edition will contain the same features as Windows 7 Ultimate that is available to individual users.

Windows Azure is the cloud services operating system that serves as the development, service hosting, and service management environment for the Windows Azure Platform. Windows Azure provides developers with on-demand compute and storage to host, scale, and manage Internet or cloud applications. and services on the Internet in Microsoft data centers.
Windows Azure supports a consistent development experience through its integration with Visual Studio. In the early stages of CTP, .NET managed applications built using Visual Studio will be supported. Windows Azure is an open platform that will support both Microsoft and non-Microsoft languages and environments. Windows Azure welcomes third-party tools and languages such as Eclipse, Ruby, PHP, and Python.
Windows® Azure is the operating system that serves as the development, run-time, and control environment for the Azure Services Platform. Windows Azure handles load balancing and resource management and automatically manages the life cycle of a service based on requirements that the owner of the service established. A developer who wishes to deploy an application to Windows Azure specifies the service topology, including the number of instances to deploy and any configuration settings. Windows Azure deploys the service and manages upgrades and failures to maintain availability.
Basic Working Model
Storage Services
The Windows Azure storage services provide persistent, durable storage in the cloud. To access the storage services, you must have a storage account, which is provided through the developer portal.
The fundamental storage services include:
* Blob service, for storing text or binary data
* Queue service, for reliable, persistent messaging between services
* Table service, for structured storage that can be queried
The Windows Azure SDK offers REST APIs for working with the storage services. You may access the storage services from within a service running in Windows Azure or directly over the Internet from any application that can send and receive data over HTTP/HTTPS.
Compute Service
Windows Azure offers an Internet-scale hosting environment built on geographically distributed data centers. This hosting environment provides a runtime execution environment for managed code.
A Windows Azure compute service is built from one or more roles. A role defines a component that may run in the execution environment; within Windows Azure, a service may run one or more instances of a role.
Currently Windows Azure supports the following two types of roles:
* A web role is an ASP.NET Web application that may be accessed via an HTTP or HTTPS endpoint. Web roles run in integrated pipeline mode on an Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Hosted Web Core.
* A worker role is a background processing component. It does not accept inbound network connections.
A service may be comprised of one or both types of roles, and may include multiple roles of each type.
Developers can use the Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio® to build, package, and run services from within Visual Studio. The Windows Azure Tools also provide project templates for designing roles. The tools are available as a separate download and are not included as part of this SDK.

Windows 7 on the way!
- The taskbar: simpler, easier to use and prettier
- Aero: a cool desktop feature that allows you to see tranparently through windows when you want to and to view previews of windows in the taskbar (you have to check it out for yourself to really understand)
- Devices: I've been using cameras, phones, printers, a wireless mouse, etc. with Win7 and everything connects no problem and works seamlessly...a nice improvement from needing to always install drivers.
Has anyone else been using the RC? Any other cool features that should be pointed out?
In any case, I hope everyone else is as excited for the release as I am. You can get lots of previews and info on the internet and at www.windows.com.

At last my first blog....!!!
Lots of things to tell but dont know where to start from , hmm let me try ...
So lets start with my time line of knowledge..
3 years back
Introduced to computer . My 1st computer dont know much about it just know that can play games and listen music on it.
Till 6 months i only used it as a play station for me was enjoying it.
Then one day i heard about a programming language termed V.B.(visual basics) by one of my computer teacher . He told me that it can be used for making softwares , i was impressed by that words without even knowing what this ol abt.
I started with it , it took me around 3 months to complete its basics . That made me crazy about computer now i left it as a play station used it as a programming machine.
2 years back
V.B. made me so crazy that in the next 9 months i completed it in detail along with it i completed Oracle , My Sql .
Then one day i was sitting at a shop for some work . In that shop there was an accountant fighting with papers handling his store records , I suggested why you just switch to a software and it will solve your problems , he replied i tried but couldn't get one , that day i thought of making it . I discussed him about the details and ol , and made the software in next 15 days and gave him to test it . He was happy all his work was done . That gave me spirit to know more and develop things.
1 years back
I completed C, C++ , Java, Clipper and sold about 30 softwares that year, along with i completed Linux (it was a new experience for me ).
1 year back
